The Five Wards of Likuyani
Wadi Tano za Likuyani
Every ward has a voice. Every ward has a story. Every ward will be heard. The Njoni Tusemezane forums will visit each of the five wards — not to speak, but to listen.
Kila wadi ina sauti. Kila wadi ina hadithi. Kila wadi itasikizwa.
Sinoko Ward
Forest Edge Community. Hardworking and Resilient.
Jamii ya Ukingo wa Msitu. Yenye Bidii na Ustahimilivu.
Sinoko Ward sits at the edge of forest land and is among the more remote communities in Likuyani. Access to services — health, education, clean water — is harder here than elsewhere. The community is hardworking and largely self-reliant, but has historically received less CDF investment relative to its needs. This ward has waited longest. It will be heard.
Key Themes for Discussion
These are the issues we expect the Sinoko ward forum to focus on — based on what we already know. The forum will confirm, expand, and add to this list. The community decides.
- Water access and boreholes
- School infrastructure
- Health facility access
- Road access from forest edge
- CDF equity allocation
